Spok and NEC Australia Renew Partnership to Improve Communications in Australian Hospitals

PERTH, Australia (13 December 2016) – Spok, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Spok Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPOK) and the global leader in enterprise critical communications, today announced a continuing partnership with NEC Australia, a leading Australian ICT solutions and services firm.

Spok and NEC recently partnered on an innovative project for a large hospital system helping to improve the communication of radiology test results. By sending result notifications directly to the requesting clinicians’ smartphones, the solutions help to improve turnaround time for communicating the findings—thus accelerating patient treatment plans and care.
