Spok to Showcase Clinical Communications at Arab Health 2016

DUBAI (19 January 2016) – Spok, Inc. today announced it is participating in Arab Health 2016 by demonstrating how critical communication solutions can improve efficiencies hospital-wide while enhancing patient care and satisfaction.  The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress is the largest healthcare event in the Middle East, and Spok will be showcasing clinical alerting, secure smartphone messaging, and contact centre optimisation solutions. The event is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from Sunday, 25 January through Thursday, 28 January.

“With more than 130,000 professionals from across the globe expected to attend Arab Health, we’re excited to meet and collaborate with leading healthcare organisations to help solve their communication challenges,” said Steven Armstrong, Spok’s regional vice president—EMEA. “We’re expecting exciting discussions on ways to improve communications across the entire hospital—not just in specific areas. Spok has decades of experience in helping hospitals communicate safely, securely, and efficiently across the entire care delivery system when fast response is imperative.”

Throughout the event, Spok will demonstrate how its full array of solutions can work together to improve patient care. This includes securely sending alerts from nurse call, patient monitoring, security, call centre, radiology, and lab systems to the correct staff member on his or her mobile device. Fast response to alerts is crucial for patient safety as well as the efficiency of nurses and other staff. Spok representatives will be demonstrating the Company’s solutions throughout the conference in stand 1B13 in Hall 1.
