You see, we don't create technology for clinical settings and real-world care workflows in a vacuum. Spok not only employs over a dozen clinicians, but we also listen closely to our customers and examine their needs and industry forces to develop technology that sets them up for success.
We gather valuable input from hospitals in several ways. We host regular meetings with our trio of advisory councils—strategic, physician, and nurse—to discuss trends and opportunities, provide input on their existing Spok solutions, and advise on solution roadmap and strategic priorities. In addition, Spok customers are encouraged to join the monthly Spok Directions User Group, open to anyone with input or ideas on Spok product direction and interested in exchanging advice on best practices. Finally, the highlight of the year is Connect, the Spok annual healthcare conference, which unites more than 200 healthcare leaders from across the U.S. in a destination city for a week of learning, networking, and fun.
