Donald Soucy Named Executive Vice President of Global Sales for Spok, Inc.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (February 1, 2016) – Spok Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPOK), a global leader in critical communications, today announced the appointment of Donald P. Soucy as Executive Vice President of Global Sales, effective February 1, 2016. In his new role Soucy will report directly to Hemant Goel, President of Spok, Inc. Soucy replaces Gary Ash, who is leaving the position to pursue other endeavors. Soucy most recently served as Vice President of Sales at Orion Health, where he was responsible for National Accounts.  Prior to Orion Health, Soucy was Senior Vice President of Sales for Influence Health (formerly MEDSEEK) where he was responsible for all new business development efforts in the United States and Canada.

Soucy has also held sales leadership positions with RelayHealth (a division of McKesson), SoftMed Systems, StorCOMM, Inc., and Lanier Healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University in Los Angeles and is based in California.
