Spok Demonstrates Solutions for Improved Clinical Communications at Arab Health 2015
DUBAI (26 January 2015) – Spok is participating in Arab Health 2015, the largest healthcare congress in the Middle East, being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Spok team is showcasing the Company’s critical communication solutions for secure smartphone messaging, clinical alerting, and contact centre optimisation, and educating hospitals and other healthcare attendees on how improved communications can increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance patient care.
“With Arab Health in its 40th year, this event brings together a large number of leading healthcare organizations in search of ways to solve their everyday challenges with intuitive solutions,” said Steven Armstrong, Spok’s regional vice president – EMEA. “Spok’s solutions help hospitals overcome communication obstacles with their existing monitoring systems and mobile devices that caregivers use to improve efficiencies and patient care.”
Spok will demonstrate how nurse call alerts, patient monitoring alarms, and a variety of other important notifications can quickly be sent to the right staff member on his or her mobile device, such as a smartphone, tablet, pager, or Wi-Fi phone. The ability to reach mobile team members within seconds of a critical alert improves overall workflow and staff productivity.
More than 93,000 healthcare professionals are expected to attend Arab Health this year to learn about the latest trends and technology in healthcare. Spok representatives will demonstrate the Company’s solutions at the conference through Thursday, 29 January. The Spok booth is located in stand 1F53 in Hall 1.
