Spok solutions give public safety organizations exceptional security capabilities and accreditations. The Company’s solutions for the contact center, call recording and quality management, emergency notification, and 9-1-1 consoles have passed the rigorous Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification and are listed under the Department of Defense’s Unified Capabilities Approved Products List. This accreditation means these solutions provide the level of security and interoperability required by the U.S. Government and the U.S. Military. The emergency services department for the city of Mont Belvieu, Texas, recently implemented Spok’s critical alerting solution.
“We have not had one issue,” said Bruce Oliphant, chief of Mont Belvieu emergency services. I’ve been around public safety for 35 years and managed a lot of new technology implementations, and this one went extremely well. The Spok team handled it like a multi-million dollar project and we are very pleased with the results.”
